Welcome to Myo Method LLC. By accessing this website, submitting a contact form, scheduling a consultation, or using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. General Information
Myo Method LLC provides orofacial myofunctional therapy services for children and adults. Our therapy programs are designed to help improve oral function, address dysfunctional oral habits, and support healthier breathing, swallowing, tongue posture, and oral resting patterns.
The information provided on this website is for general educational and informational purposes only. It should not be considered medical, dental, orthodontic, or therapeutic advice specific to your individual condition.
2. Professional Services
Services provided by Myo Method LLC may include consultations, therapy sessions, individualized exercises, education, habit retraining, and progress monitoring.
Each therapy program is personalized based on the patient’s needs, goals, symptoms, and clinical findings. Results may vary from person to person and depend on several factors, including patient consistency, participation, age, underlying conditions, and collaboration with other healthcare or dental providers when needed.
Myo Method LLC does not guarantee specific outcomes or results.
3. Not a Substitute for Medical or Dental Care
Orofacial myofunctional therapy may support oral function, breathing patterns, swallowing, sleep-related concerns, and orthodontic stability. However, it is not a replacement for care from a physician, dentist, orthodontist, sleep specialist, speech-language pathologist, ENT, or other licensed healthcare provider.
Patients are encouraged to seek appropriate medical, dental, or specialist evaluation when needed. Myo Method LLC may recommend that a patient consult with another provider before or during therapy.
4. Appointments and Scheduling
Appointments may be offered in person and/or virtually, depending on the patient’s needs and availability.
Patients are responsible for arriving on time and being prepared for each session. For virtual appointments, patients are responsible for having a reliable internet connection, appropriate device, and private setting for the session.
If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, please provide as much notice as possible.
5. Cancellations, No-Shows, and Late Arrivals
Myo Method LLC reserves the right to set and enforce cancellation, no-show, and late arrival policies.
Missed appointments, late cancellations, or repeated late arrivals may result in fees, shortened appointment times, or changes to the treatment plan. Any specific cancellation or rescheduling policy will be shared with patients before beginning services.
6. Payment Terms
Payment is due according to the terms provided at the time of scheduling or service agreement.
Myo Method LLC reserves the right to require payment before services are provided. Fees may vary depending on the type of consultation, therapy program, session format, or treatment plan.
Patients are responsible for all costs associated with their care unless otherwise stated in writing.
7. Insurance and Reimbursement
Myo Method LLC may or may not bill insurance directly. Patients are responsible for confirming whether services are covered by their insurance plan.
If superbills or documentation are provided for potential reimbursement, reimbursement is not guaranteed. Insurance coverage depends on the patient’s individual plan, benefits, diagnosis requirements, and provider policies.
8. Patient Participation and Home Exercises
Myofunctional therapy requires active participation. Patients may be given exercises, habit awareness strategies, and at-home practice between sessions.
Consistent home practice is an important part of therapy progress. Lack of participation, missed exercises, or inconsistent attendance may affect results.
For pediatric patients, parent or caregiver involvement may be required to support successful therapy outcomes.
9. Minors
For patients under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must provide consent for services.
A parent or guardian may be required to attend consultations, participate in therapy sessions, assist with home exercises, and communicate with Myo Method LLC regarding the child’s progress.
